Modular Spice Rack Design
This spice rack was inspired by trading on the silk road with the goal of keeping spices fresh and accessible as a rich daily experience.
The project initial concept was to organize a common house hold mess. Spices became the focus because they are a constant in every home—often passed down through generations and one of the first things unpacked in a new space. This sense of preservation inspired the design, leading to a spice rack that not only organizes but also protects spices from sunlight and humidity, keeping them fresh and potent.
Designed for versatility, the rack features three storage methods—shelves, clips, and pockets—along with a corkboard and magnetic plate for recipes, shopping lists, and notes. More than just storage, it brings order to a kitchen’s everyday essentials.
